Booking Terms & Conditions

For all of our packages a non-refundable booking fee will be required to secure your chosen party date and time. The booking fee amount is 50% and is at the sole-discretion of Happy Little Wonderland.  The non-refundable booking fee must be paid for within 48 hours of booking unless otherwise prearranged in advance with Happy Little Wonderland. The remaining balance is due 24 hours before the the party/event date.  Bank Transfer is currently the only form of payment accepted.

Parties booked 7 days or less in advance must be paid for in full at the time of booking. Date and time subject to availability and up to our own discretion.

Cancellation Policy:

All booking fees are non-refundable. If you need to cancel your booking for any reason then please let us know as soon as possible so that we can work with you to reschedule you in for a new date subject to availability. If cancelled less than 48hrs before the day of the party then the date is non-exchangeable and will not be rescheduled nor credit note issued. If cancelling then your credit note must be used within 12 months of the original booking date or it will be lost.

Pricing policy

Happy Little Wonderland hold the right to change any pricing on their website either up or down at any given time. The price that you pay is always confirmed in an email/message from us and you will always pay what we quote to you directly in our correspondence so if our pricing does for example go up after we have confirmed a price with you in an email/message then you will still pay what was quoted to you provided that your booking fee is paid within 48 hours of that quote.

Illness Policy:

We know that “life” happens, especially with little Birthday Boys and Girls. If he or she becomes ill and the party must be cancelled then we will work with you to find an alternative party date, based on availability and this may be subject to an extra charge. Please provide a 24 hour notice of illness, if possible. In some cases a doctors note will be needed as proof of illness.

Character Performer Policy

If you have a specific request for a certain performer then please ask and we will do our best to accommodate this for you but due to availability, we cannot guarantee your party will be hosted by any specific performer you have seen, but we can guarantee a quality look alike and performer.

Party Guest Policy

All of our different party packages are based on a maximum number of party guests. The total amount is tailored specifically to each individual package. 

We have a capacity of 15 children to a single performer, if your numbers exceed this you will need to book another performer, with 2 performers you can invite up to 30 children. By inviting more guests to the party the booker runs the risk of the performers having less control of the party.

You will be honest about the amount of children that will be present, including any siblings who may join in, we pack prizes and equipment according to numbers booked.

If upon arrival there are more guests than intended and expected by your entertainer(s) then an extra charge will incur. Should a performer arrive at a party in which numbers far exceed the agreed number of guests they reserve the right to not complete the party.

Behaviour problems Policy:

You as the hostess/host or the child’s parent, are responsible for any behavior problems or issues during the Party. Our Entertainers will not assume responsibility for providing any disciplinary action during a party. In order to continue to deliver and offer a magical and wonderful experience for your Party, our character entertainers will need to stay fully in character and to only focus on children that are following the rules and behaving appropriately during the party. If any issues do arise then it is the parent or guardians sole responsibility to issue any discipline and deal with any disruptive behaviour.

Our characters are not childminders and each child should have a parent or guardian present for the entire duration of the booking.

Photo Policy:

Please note that we sometimes do take photos at parties and that these party photos may be used to show a character party experience on our web-site and on Social media.  If you do not want photos placed on our web-site and Social media, you will need to let Happy Little Wonderland know in advance.  These photos will in no way be used to create merchandise or to sell to the public, only to promote and show potential customers a true representation of what they can expect when booking with us. If you have any questions or concerns regarding this policy, please do not hesitate to ask.

Accident or Damage Policy:

Our entertainers are not liable for any damages or injuries that may occur at any particular party or event.

Safety Policy:

Our performers have the right to walk out and leave if at any point they feel threatened, harassed or unsafe.

Travel:

Travel fees are applicable for parties over 5 miles from our base in SE9, please let us know if you need a quote for the travel charge as each quote is based on mileage rather than a flat fee.

Our performers travel to each event by car and need to have an appropriate place to park, please let us know beforehand if there is any parking/toll charge at the venue or on the journey.

Please ensure the parking space saved for the performer is safe and legal. There is appropriate space for the performer to exit the vehicle and it is less than 5 minutes from the venue.

We politely request that you do not bring any children out of the venue to meet the character at their form of transport in order to maintain the magic.
